A BORING PLAYLIST is a photography and editorial project that was created in the first lockdown. The styling of the model makes it look like she’s getting ready to go out. Unfortunately there is nowhere to go. This state of stillstand and distorted feeling of time was also the criteria for the choice of location for the shooting. It was shot in a house that was due to be sold and therefore in a transition of ownership, which makes it not completely empty but strangely uninhabited. The protagonist’s bizarre and static poses underline the monotony and dullness of the feeling of boredom. The textual level is composed of song lyrics from a playlist on the topic and its layout inspired by the karaoke aesthetic, to emphasise the passage of time.
